Why You Should Learn a Second Langauge

Foreign Languages are not an easy thing to learn. It takes years of dedication and hard studing. So why should one devote the time and simple brain power to learn one? Why am i learning one myself? For one, to get into most colleges they require atleast two years of a foreign language, and some even require four years. Now if you go beyond the simple straight foward reasons, there are other benefits. For one, it expands your brain because language in general is one of the most complicated things to learn and use. Two, it means you can comunicate with others who speak french and makes your desireability as an employee increased, for companies that deal with french speaking people. Overall learning French or any foreign language is a brilliant idea that will improve your life even though it requires lots of devotion and hard work.
